BAMAKO, 21 nov 2012 (AFP) – Un Européen parlant français a été enlevé mardi soir dans la localité de Diema située dans la région de Kayes (ouest du Mali),
a appris mercredi l’AFP de sources sécuritaire et administrative.

« Un Européen parlant francais a été enlevé mardi soir à Diema par sept
hommes armés ayant la peau claire, ça c’est très vite passé », a déclaré une
source sécuritaire de la région de Kayes, information confirmée par une source
administrative dans cette ville proche des frontières avec le Sénégal et la
Mauritanie.
Cet homme, dont ni la nationalité ni l’identité n’ont été communiquées dans
un premier temps, circulait dans un véhicule venant de Mauritanie au moment de
son enlèvement. « Il avait la cinquantaine et a été enlevé par des hommes armés
à la peau claire, les recherches sont en cours », a précisé la source
administrative.
Il y a environ quatre ans, un couple italo-burkinabé avait été enlevé dans
cette même région par Al-Qaïda au Maghreb islamique (Aqmi), puis libéré après
quelques mois de détention contre paiement d’une rançon, selon ces sources.
Aqmi est l’un des trois groupes islamistes armés qui, avec le Mouvement
pour l’unicité et le jihad en Afrique de l’Ouest (Mujao) et Ansar Dine
(défenseurs de l’islam), occupent entièrement tout le nord du Mali depuis fin
juin.
Aqmi y retient en otage neuf Européens, dont six Français, enlevés en
septembre 2010 et novembre 2011. Le Mujao retient au moins trois otages
algériens.

von Diema sind es keine 200km bis in die Gegend um Nara und die Wälder von Ouagadou. Das es dort unsicher ist muß jedem klar sein, der sich auch nur ein wenig über die aktuelle Lage in der Region erkundigt. Dort kam es letztes Jahr regelmässig zu heftigen Gefechten der mauretanischen Armee mit Aqmi, das 3500km2 große bewaldete Gebiet ist nur schwer kontrollierbar und gilt nach wie vor als heikel.

Wir haben schon wieder "grenzgeniale" Ortsangaben - ich komme mir vor wie in düstersten algerischen Desinformationszeiten. Zwischen Diema bzw. Nioro und "près de la ville de Kayes" (im leider veränderten Originaltext aus der LePoint) liegen satte 200 km. Und die jetzt genannten Lokalitäten als "près de la frontière avec la Mauritanie et le Sénégal" einzuordnen ist auch ...kreativ.
Wenn der gute Mann über Ayoun gekommen ist, hatte er wohl schon länger einen "Schatten", dass geht das vor dem nahenden Einsatz aller möglicher Kräfte in Mali schon in die Richtung "selber schuld, kein Mitleid"

Habe gestern in Diema übernachtet (Zelt).
Der Besitzer des Geländes von "Pam" hat mit mir geplaudert.
